I am a currently a 1L student at University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and set to graduate in 2026. I graduated from the United States Military Academy in 2014 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I served as a U.S. Army Sapper where I got to lead soldiers, play with explosives, and work along the Demilitarized Zone on the border between North and South Korea to help facilitate negotiations during an historic period. After five years in the U.S. Army, I transitioned as a Captain (O3) and worked in tech before law school. From San Francisco startups to larger firms, I saw first hand the disconnect between those who work with cutting-edge technology and those who litigate and regulate it.
With over four years of experience in data as a data analyst / data scientist, I am uniquely positioned to provide key insight and expertise to legal issues arising from data and its uses. My goal for law school and my career is to help shape legal discussion around data and data adjacent software, with a particular passion for data privacy issues.
